Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to design well-aligned, practical features through detailed Requests For Comments (RFCs).
• Develop and maintain Go-based code for backend services, plugin frameworks, CLI tools, CI/CD pipelines, and React frontend applications.
• Create and curate comprehensive markdown documentation to support users, AI agents, and support/operational teams.
• Ensure high operational standards by actively participating in system monitoring, proactivity initiatives, and on-call duties for a dependable Data Platform.
• Assist and mentor diverse users in following best practices and utilizing the platform effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and running complex distributed systems or platforms at scale.
• Strong proficiency in the Go programming language, coupled with versatility and willingness to work with Python or other languages as needed.
• Hands-on expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles and their application in platform engineering.
• Familiarity with data platform architectures, particularly columnar databases, storage solutions, and massively parallel processing (MPP) engines.
• A passion for improving Developer Experience, adept at balancing end-user requirements with technical and infrastructural constraints.
• Experience employing agentic coding workflows to accelerate development while maintaining rigorous code quality, security, and reliability.
