Role Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in San Gwann as Grocery Store Assistants, also known as Grocery Associates. This role involves hands-on management of grocery orders, packing, customer handovers, stock receiving, and maintaining accurate system information. The position demands commitment to rotating shifts, covering early mornings through late nights, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Process orders received via the Merchant app efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and hand over groceries to customers and courier partners with care.
- Unload deliveries of food and supplies obtained from vendors.
- Manage internal systems, ensuring nutritional and allergen information is accurate.
- Keep the store organized and clean to maintain operational standards.
Candidate Profile
- Proactive, quick to learn, and capable of multitasking.
- Availability to work flexible shifts spanning mornings and evenings on weekdays and weekends between 6:45 AM and 1:00 AM.
- Own transportation is necessary for commute during early and late hours.
- Previous experience working in a grocery store is beneficial.
- Fluent in English at a professional level.
- Legal authorization to work in Malta and current residency in the country.
