Senior Software Engineer (AI CICD)

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI CICD to join a partner company based in Ireland. This role involves building innovative products that sit at the intersection of software supply chain security, artificial intelligence, and developer tooling. Candidates will become part of a small, dynamic engineering team focused on creating practical tools for production use.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of product features from initial design through development, release, and continuous enhancement.
• Collaborate closely with Product and front-end teams to transform customer requirements and product objectives into technical solutions.
• Proactively navigate uncertain technical and product challenges, defining approaches without relying on fully detailed specifications.
• Participate in shaping a product-driven roadmap by prioritizing tradeoffs, meeting deadlines, and delivering iterative improvements.
• Integrate agentic AI functionalities into customer-facing solutions across multiple product lines.
• Provide strong technical input on architectural decisions while working collaboratively with engineers and stakeholders.
• Support and promote a culture of technical excellence, ownership, initiative, and continual enhancement.

Candidate Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in professional software development.
• Deep knowledge of containers, artifact registries, Docker, Kubernetes, and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Demonstrated experience in building and securing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) systems.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) or a strong aptitude and readiness to quickly become proficient.
• Experience with AI tools and a genuine passion for applying AI to complex technical and product problems.
• Interest in collaborative development with Product teams and engagement with user feedback to launch new features.
• Excellent communication skills with professional-level fluency in English.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative, handle ambiguity effectively, and seek support as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary ranging between $157,000 and $184,000 USD.
