Role Overview

We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior Software Developer passionate about shaping the future of energy technology. This role offers advancement opportunities into technical or leadership tracks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust software primarily using Java backend technologies, along with frontend frameworks like React and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
• Collaborate with global partners including AWS to design valuable software systems for a worldwide customer base.
• Participate in an agile, product-focused team, influencing development priorities and approaches.
• Adopt and promote software delivery best practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and automated deployments.
• Utilize AWS cloud services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM to implement serverless architectures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced expertise in backend software development using Java and Spring frameworks with proficiency in quality assurance tooling and software development lifecycle processes.
• Strong familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing, including designing and executing serverless solutions.
• Experience with DevOps concepts, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and tools.
• A proactive problem solver with a strong eagerness to continuously learn and expand skills.
• A collaborative and supportive team member who values helping others grow.

The Diverge Platform

• A customizable managed SaaS for energy data ingestion, processing, analytics, and delivery.
• Built entirely with AWS serverless technologies ensuring scalability, reliability, and resilience.
• Managed via infrastructure-as-code, automated releases, and service orchestration.
• Implements streaming data pipelines sensitive to state, timing, and data dependencies.
