Java Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 8 to 12 years of hands-on expertise for a position based in Pune, India. The role demands strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Framework modules, Hibernate, REST API development, and Java design patterns. Practical experience in microservices architecture and the use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitLab Copilot is essential. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, utilizing generative AI technologies to enhance coding efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications leveraging Core Java features.
• Implement and support components within the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring DAO, Spring JDBC, and Spring ORM.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and utilize Hibernate for data persistence.
• Apply Java design patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable code architecture.
• Architect and build microservices-based solutions.
• Integrate and work proficiently with AI-assisted coding tools, particularly GitLab Copilot, to improve coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience with Java development and microservices architectures.
• Proficient in Spring Boot and knowledgeable about the banking domain.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and willingness to adopt new AI technologies.

Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with React.js for full-stack or integration tasks.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud platform services.
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Database management skills with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
