Role Summary

As a Senior Security Engineer at Qualcomm, you will conduct security evaluations and contribute to the development of hardware and software security features. Collaborating across teams, you will ensure that product security requirements and performance metrics are consistently met throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive security expertise to fulfill engineering and business objectives.
• Design and implement new hardware and software security functionalities and maintain security standards in existing products.
• Conduct comprehensive security assessments including vulnerability assessment, threat analysis, and security code reviews to uncover potential weaknesses.
• Identify and suggest solutions for security risks and vulnerabilities; manage product security incidents and support customers on security-related inquiries.
• Create and introduce training materials and tools that encourage secure product development practices.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Security Engineering or allied fields.
• At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or System Verilog.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 1+ year, or any PhD qualification.

• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; negotiation and influence capabilities are advantageous.
