Role Overview

Join the Agent, Admin and Supervisor Experience team, which consists of 9 engineers working across Israel, Germany, India, and Bulgaria. This fully remote role based in Germany involves leading the development and evolution of frontend architecture within a fast-moving environment to improve how brands communicate with customers using messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enhancement of the core UI platform employing micro frontend architecture to ensure scalability and ease of maintenance.
• Drive AI-focused engineering initiatives by defining best practices, evaluating new AI development tools, and establishing workflows to boost developer efficiency, code quality, and architectural choices.
• Mentor engineering teams on effectively integrating AI while upholding engineering standards, security, and maintainability.
• Produce clean, efficient, maintainable code and engage in code reviews to elevate overall codebase quality.
• Design and implement innovative user-centric features, including generative AI integrations, to enhance user experience.
• Build robust, testable, and performant applications using Vue.js, Node.js, Java, and other modern technologies.
• Manage features from initial design to backend development, testing, and deployment.
• Continuously improve product functionality, performance, scalability, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers fostering their professional development and impactful team contributions.
• Support development and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on managing Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure to enable rapid, reliable releases.

Required Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C#, etc.) and Node.js development.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive expertise with frontend technologies, preferably Vue.js, or alternatively React.js.
• Solid experience implementing Micro Frontend architectures practically.
• Comprehensive understanding of the web development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Proven skills applying Generative AI across software development from architecture to automation, improving productivity and quality, while defining AI best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or AWS/Azure is a plus.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable code aligned with industry best practices.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests for frontend and backend components.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude for analyzing and resolving complex issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies promoting iterative development and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated capability mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
• Strong dedication to quality, responsibility, and continuous software development improvement.
• Willingness to participate in a paid on-call rotation every two months, supporting the philosophy "You Build It, You Run It".
