Role Overview
We invite a passionate Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to bolster our engineering team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring superior quality and reliability of our software products by utilizing advanced AI-assisted tools to automate and improve testing processes. You will actively contribute to delivering pioneering agent-based products while fostering quality excellence throughout the software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AI technologies such as Claude and Copilot to assist with authoring detailed test plans, unit tests, UI and performance testing to expedite automation coverage.
- Create thorough quality assurance strategies tailored to AI-centric products, including validating agent responses, model consistency, data integrity, and system functionality.
- Develop and uphold automated testing frameworks leveraging languages like C#, Python, and TypeScript.
- Implement and continually enhance automation tools and testing processes.
- Conduct contract testing with tools such as PACT to maintain smooth interactions with external APIs and services.
- Perform manual testing methods including functional, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end approaches to uncover defects beyond automation scope.
- Engage collaboratively with developers to clarify requirements and preemptively detect potential issues during development phases.
- Review software code critically to provide constructive feedback and improve code quality.
- Participate fully through all stages of the software development lifecycle from planning through ongoing maintenance.
- Advocate for a culture focused on quality assurance and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated expertise applying AI-driven tools for generating and executing test cases, thereby enhancing automation accuracy and productivity.
- Experience designing QA methodologies specifically for AI-driven software, including model response evaluation and fairness assessment.
- Proven skill in both manual and automated testing, with sound judgement on selecting the optimal method based on feature complexity, risk analysis, and requirement nuances.
- Proficient with established automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Practical experience with contract testing methodologies like PACT.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
