Role Overview
The Product Manager – Digital Engagement will lead the strategic planning, development, and delivery of various digital engagement products, including websites, streaming services, content platforms, and communication tools. This role requires close cooperation with product leadership, engineering, design teams, and diverse stakeholders to successfully launch and optimize these offerings, appealing to organisations striving to engage their communities through integrated digital experiences. A technical background and familiarity with web, video, and messaging systems are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product lifecycle management from concept to market launch within the digital engagement portfolio.
- Gather and define product requirements, author detailed product documentation, and coordinate delivery with engineering and design teams.
- Own quarterly initiatives and ensure their timely completion.
- Manage and influence technical product decisions regarding web platforms, CMS, video streaming, and email/SMS communications in partnership with engineering.
- Conduct market research to evaluate trends, customer needs, and competitors, defining product market positions accordingly.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor product performance and customer interactions, identifying improvements and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to drive product success.
- Act as the product evangelist internally and externally by sharing insights and engaging with users and customers to gather feedback.
- Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, balancing business value, customer demands, and technical feasibility across multiple products.
- Coordinate sprint planning and quarterly key initiatives ensuring execution aligns with strategic goals.
Candidate Profile
- Enthusiastic about supporting purpose-driven organisations.
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines, or possess equivalent experience and education.
- Minimum of three years in product management, with preference for experience in technical or platform-related products.
- Technical proficiency with web technologies including CMS platforms, APIs, HTML/CSS; knowledge of video streaming and email/SMS delivery technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to extract actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Meticulous organisational skills to manage multiple products and projects concurrently.
- Passion for technology, customer-oriented mindset, and focus on product usability.
- Experience with product management tools such as Aha, Monday.com, or similar software is advantageous.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
