Senior SAP Systems Engineer - AI Integration

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Systems Engineer to develop a sophisticated integration layer connecting autonomous AI agents with an intricate enterprise SAP environment. This role transcends typical SAP maintenance, focusing on designing secure, API-driven integrations that enable AI bots to retrieve data and manage controlled workflows spanning Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement API-based integrations linking autonomous AI agents with SAP systems ensuring security and efficiency.
• Enable controlled workflow execution across multiple SAP modules such as Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and HR.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Over seven years of professional experience in SAP system engineering or architecture.
• In-depth expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Ariba.
• Advanced capabilities with SAP Cloud Application Programming model (CAP), OData services, Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), and integration technologies including CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), PI (Process Integration), and PO (Process Orchestration).
• Strong programming skills in ABAP, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and HANA SQLScript.
• Proven expertise in at least two of the following SAP functional areas: Financial Accounting and Controlling (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), or Ariba procurement solutions.
• Familiarity with exposing and interfacing SAP services to programming environments such as Python or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), audit compliance, and the principles of secure API architecture.
• Experience with manufacturing sector SAP implementations is highly advantageous.
