Cards Analytics Specialist - 12 Months Contract - Doha, Qatar

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cards Analytics Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract basis at our Doha, Qatar location. This role demands extensive analysis and reporting on card portfolio performance with the aim to provide actionable insights to senior management.

Key Duties

• Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards detailing card portfolio performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Analyze critical metrics such as acquisition, activation, spending patterns, usage, retention rates, attrition, delinquency, and overall profitability.
• Execute detailed customer segmentation, cohort evaluation, vintage, and trend analyses to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness through control group comparisons, uplift measurement, response rates, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
• Create dynamic, interactive dashboards using visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to facilitate data interpretation.
• Communicate findings and strategic recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Finance.
• Enhance the accuracy of data inputs and automate regularly generated reports to streamline workflows.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in cards analytics, portfolio analytics, or business intelligence, specifically within banking, payment systems, or fintech sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in credit and/or debit card portfolio analytics.
• Proficient in advanced SQL querying and Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience in developing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
• Excellent skills in translating complex data into compelling stories and presenting insights to stakeholders at different levels.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, R, or SAS is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
