Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Salesforce Developer to become an integral part of a dynamic Agile DevOps team. This position combines practical coding tasks with strategic functional solution design. The successful candidate will contribute to the expansion, modernization, and management of a key enterprise platform that supports field workforce management, case handling, CRM, and survey data systems.
Primary Duties
- Develop custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced automation workflows.
- Implement declarative configurations including custom record pages, validation rules, and automated processes.
- Convert complex business needs into scalable and secure Salesforce architectures.
- Oversee continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, deploy automated updates, enhance platform functionality, and address ongoing software issues.
- Create tailored user interfaces adhering to modern accessibility and government digital standards.
- Work in partnership with business teams to gather detailed requirements, refine system designs, and maximize platform utilization.
Experience and Qualifications
- Certified Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder credentials are required.
- Demonstrated expertise with Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, and Field Service modules within Salesforce.
- Proven track record of writing production-level Apex code, developing custom LWCs, and designing comprehensive Salesforce Flow automations.
- Experience managing Salesforce deployments using CI/CD tools and version control systems.
- Excellent communication abilities paired with a client-centered approach to collaborative design and requirement gathering.
- Strong dedication to software quality, compliance with accessibility standards, and on-time project delivery.
Location and Work Arrangement
Preferred location is Wellington with consideration for Auckland or Christchurch applicants. Position is primarily onsite with the flexibility of two days per week working from home.
