Senior Quantity Surveyor - Post Contract

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, UAE, focusing on post contract commercial management for large-scale building projects and mega structures. This role offers an excellent chance for a MRICS chartered cost management expert to contribute to a prestigious, iconic mega project within Gleeds Arabia.

• Oversee contract administration ensuring compliance with commercial standards.
• Maintain stringent cost control measures and deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Provide high-quality commercial management services that surpass client expectations.
• Build and sustain excellent client relationships.
• Enhance Gleeds' cost management capabilities continually.
• Collaborate closely with regional directors to support overall project success.

Experience and Qualities Sought

• Possess over 10 years of cost management experience following MRICS certification.
• Have a minimum of 2 years' professional experience living and working in the GCC region.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in cost consultancy with sound practical knowledge of post contract cost management.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and adaptability to dynamic environments.
• Bring specialist insight into managing mega building structures.
• Show proven success in delivering client services and managing client relations effectively.
• Experience engaging with clients and senior stakeholders at the highest levels in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or an equivalent qualification.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written at a native level.
• Arabic language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
