About the Role

Gleeds is offering a significant opportunity for an Executive Quantity Surveyor to contribute to a prestigious giga program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia within the Buildings & Real Estate construction sector. This role focuses on post contract commercial management, providing a platform to advance your career in a supportive, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive post contract commercial management services.
• Manage projects ensuring delivery of high-quality outputs in line with company procedures.
• Engage proactively with clients to foster, expand, and maintain strong relationships.
• Ensure cost management deliverables meet client expectations with high standards.
• Value completed work accurately and facilitate payment arrangements.
• Offer expert senior advice on legal and contractual matters related to construction projects.
• Serve as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent to administer contracts effectively.
• Prepare and present detailed reports for clients.
• Inform Directors promptly about any arising or potential project issues.

Candidate Profile

• MRICS or FRICS Chartered qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience covering all quantity surveying aspects.
• At least 3 years of professional experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience within a consultancy environment.
• Demonstrated role as Senior Commercial Manager leading giga-scale building projects.
• Experience in giga-scale building projects encompassing hospitality and education domains.
• Strong knowledge and practical expertise in post contract commercial management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to comprehend complex information and swiftly evaluate requirements.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within team settings.

Educational and Language Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Chartered status via MRICS or equivalent.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Arabic language skills are considered advantageous.
• Possession of a transferable Iqama is essential.
