Senior Project Manager (Sitewide Infrastructure)

Overview

As a key senior team member, your duties include supporting team members directly reporting to you, promoting collaboration throughout the regional teams and AtkinsRéalis as a whole, providing technical guidance to project groups, and ensuring client objectives are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution ensuring on-time progress, adherence to quality standards, and cost control.
• Review and approve technical submissions from developers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Verify that project deliverables comply with agreed standards and meet stakeholder expectations at each phase.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders and adapt engagement plans accordingly.
• Create and enforce protocols and documentation for scheduling, monitoring, and completing project tasks within planned timelines.
• Define and record actionable milestones to produce project outputs.
• Develop and execute guidelines for budgeting, cost management, and expenditure control within the project.
• Identify problems impacting the project and lead their resolution.
• Implement a change control framework by establishing baselines, and managing scope changes.
• Prepare detailed specifications based on design guidelines supplied to the developer.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited university.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are required.
• Over 20 years of post-qualification experience in managing and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven success record in infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience working with Project Management Consultancy firms and major contractors.
• Extensive expertise managing onsite construction of complex projects similar in scope and type.

• Identify and resolve site planning or coordination challenges.

• Use risk assessment and mitigation techniques effectively.

• Maintain awareness of broader project context and its influence on operations.
