Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Controls Manager to oversee the planning, reporting, and governance of a large-scale data center campus project. This role is pivotal in maintaining consistent project controls in line with industry benchmarks and company standards, while effectively implementing processes and systems throughout the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of programme-wide strategies for project planning, reporting, and governance.
• Establish and enforce policies, standards, and systems related to project controls.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of program data and reporting outputs.
• Standardize document handling workflows and control processes.
• Create and manage the comprehensive master schedule for the program.
• Define Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), coding frameworks, and control methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional schedules spanning engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Track project progress, detect schedule deviations, and initiate corrective measures.
• Perform critical path, scenario planning, and schedule risk analysis.
• Develop mechanisms for progress measurement, alongside dashboards and performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and executive-level management reports.
• Audit and validate progress submissions provided by contractors and maintain thorough planning audit records.
• Leverage digital planning and reporting tools including Primavera P6 and Power BI for enhanced project control.
• Encourage automation, visualization, and continuous enhancing of project controls processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable qualification with relevant professional or chartered credentials.
• Over 10 years of pertinent experience managing data center or similarly complex engineering projects.
• Demonstrable expertise in programme planning and reporting for large-scale projects.
• Proficient with Primavera P6, BIM 360, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Procore software.
• Strong capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint.
• In-depth understanding of construction technologies, regulatory permitting, sequencing, testing, commissioning, and compliance.
• Substantial skills in strategic planning, risk oversight, engaging stakeholders, and effective communication.
• Highly organized with excellent multitasking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
