Senior Java Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, along with working knowledge of Azure, Kafka, and related technologies. This role demands 6 to 8 years of software development background and experience working in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Technical and Product Managers to define project scopes and plan activities.
• Design and implement effective architectural strategies.
• Promote best software engineering practices within teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Maintain high code quality by performing code reviews and engaging in defect prevention activities.
• Work in small, agile teams to develop well-integrated products through short design cycles, ensuring thorough documentation and reusable components.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of Core Java and design principles.
• Advanced skills in J2EE frameworks, including Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Expertise in Spring Boot for building RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Proficient in API documentation and testing tools like POSTMAN and Swagger.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Basic understanding of caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) and search/index platforms (Elastic Search).
• Experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Agile processes.
