Senior Java Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Azure, and Kafka to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will possess 6 to 8 years of software development experience and be adept at delivering high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Technical and Product Managers to define project scope and execution plans.
• Design and implement architectural strategies to drive project success.
• Promote team collaboration to adhere to software engineering best practices and develop customer-centric solutions.
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews and proactive defect management.
• Work within small, agile teams to develop well-integrated products with concise documentation and reusable components.
• Document processes and code effectively using tools like POSTMAN and Swagger.

Technical Requirements

• Strong command of Core Java and design principles.
• Extensive experience in J2EE development using Spring, JPA, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and Microservices architecture.
• Practical working knowledge of RDBMS, specifically MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Basic understanding of caching mechanisms such as Redis and search/indexing platforms like Elastic Search.
• Experience working within Agile methods including Scrum, Kanban.
