Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of backend infrastructure within Binance's Web3 security domain, ensuring systems are performant, highly available, reliable, and scalable.
• Manage upgrades, maintenance, and migrations of existing backend and security service platforms to continually elevate service quality and system robustness.
• Develop and deliver new backend services and technical solutions, collaborating closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business and security needs into effective implementation plans.
• Partner with security specialists and operations teams to enhance security systems, automate processes, and improve threat detection efficiency.
• Work alongside analysts and data scientists in data acquisition, cleaning, modeling, and analytical processes to support use cases related to security.
• Design and implement backend workflows and big data pipelines tailored for Web3 security and threat control scenarios.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including global teams, to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience in backend development, ideally within blockchain, Web3 security, anti-fraud, risk management, or associated fields.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver sophisticated backend systems capable of operating in large-scale, highly concurrent, and data-heavy environments.
• Expertise in Java frameworks including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases, alongside backend service development and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with distributed system architecture and middleware technologies including distributed caching, messaging queues like Kafka, service discovery, and configuration management tools.
• Practical experience with big data platforms and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience handling data pipelines, including processes for data collection, cleansing, and real-time or batch processing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to learning, and a strong enthusiasm for addressing challenges within Web3 security.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills conducive to fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of blockchain concepts and hands-on familiarity with on-chain data analysis.
• Awareness of artificial intelligence and machine learning principles.
• Experience optimizing performance at the JVM, SQL, or RPC layers.
• Proficiency in English language communication.
