Role Overview
GlobalLogic is seeking skilled professionals to join their expanding team, supporting this global retail pharmacy company.
Responsibilities
- Attend business requirement and elaboration meetings to define epics, features, capabilities, and user stories along with acceptance criteria in collaboration with business teams and product owners, adding them to the backlog.
- Estimate testing effort scope and size for each user story, contributing to sprint planning and re-evaluating estimates based on sprint progress.
- Develop test plans, strategies, and scripts within JIRA based on requirements gathered and reviewed with stakeholders.
- Execute functional and integration testing, including UI and API automation testing, for applications built on AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Microsoft Azure Microservices, Talend, MS SQL Server, and Cosmos databases.
- Perform tests via automated tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Android Studio, or manually when automation environment is unavailable.
- Early-stage Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) testing using SOAPUI and Postman.
- Manage defect lifecycle actively by tracking issues and coordinating with business partners until resolution, adhering to defect service level agreements.
- Analyze and validate test outcomes and defect reports to ensure quality compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience with UI and API automation testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools including Selenium, Cucumber, and Android Studio.
- Proficiency in database technologies including MS SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Expertise in SOA testing tools such as SOAPUI and Postman.
- Ability to write and manage test plans and test cases using JIRA.
- Strong defect management and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
