The studio partners with renowned names like Rockstar Games, Obsidian Entertainment, Mojang, Bethesda Game Studios, and Facepunch, contributing to titles such as The Outer Worlds 2, Red Dead Redemption, Rust Console Edition, and Fallout 76.
We are currently seeking a Senior Graphics Programmer to join our award-winning team in Middlesbrough. This role involves developing advanced rendering features, shader optimization, and collaborating with partners to deliver high-quality visuals across platforms. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement visual rendering features and techniques within our proprietary game engine to meet stringent quality standards.
- Profile and optimize C++ and GPU shader code to enhance performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external partners, maintaining a constructive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Work closely across departments to improve asset pipelines, tools, and workflows.
- Engage in code reviews and support the growth and knowledge sharing within the graphics programming team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in C++ programming and shader development.
- Experienced with modern graphics APIs like DirectX 12 or Vulkan, with enthusiasm for cross-platform development.
- Familiarity with profiling tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, or NSight to diagnose and resolve performance challenges.
- Strong grasp of rendering techniques including Physically Based Rendering (PBR), Global Illumination, Deferred Rendering, and real-time Ray Tracing.
- Beneficial knowledge in low-level systems such as memory management and streaming architectures tailored for large-scale open-world games.
- A proactive attitude toward learning new tools and advancing graphics rendering methods.

All relevant educational backgrounds and qualifications will be considered.
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Flexible start times between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
- 35-hour workweek with an adjustable lunch break ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Opportunity for hybrid working with up to two days remote per week.
