Senior Statistical Programmer

About the Role

Join Cytel's dynamic Biometrics team dedicated to advancing novel gene therapy initiatives. As a Senior Statistical Programmer, you will contribute to the programming and technical support for clinical trial data analysis and reporting, playing an integral role in supporting the development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SAS programs tailored for assigned projects, consistently achieving project goals.
• Write complex SAS code to analyze, report, and electronically submit clinical trial data in CDISC formats with minimal supervision.
• Prepare specifications for derived and analysis datasets and program datasets, tables, figures, and listings to facilitate clinical trial data analyses.
• Generate SDTM domains and ADaM datasets as required for clinical data submission.
• Conduct quality control of advanced SAS coding and validate outputs prepared by other team members.
• Review define.xml files and compile reviewer guides for SDTM and ADaM datasets.
• Update and maintain study documentation following established standards.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Technical and Communication Expertise

• Possess advanced skills across all SAS programming aspects commonly applied in clinical trial reporting, including macro programming, BASE SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS/GRAPH.
• Have intermediate understanding of electronic regulatory submissions and CDISC standards.
• Demonstrate consistent technical competence to support ongoing operations and ensure accurate, timely task completion.
• Exhibit effective written and oral communication skills within specialized areas.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• MS degree in biostatistics or a related discipline accompanied by 5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry; or
• BS degree in biostatistics or related field with 7-10 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
