Role Overview

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will contribute significantly to backend software development focused on combating physician burnout and enhancing doctor-patient interactions. You will take ownership of technical solutions that elevate clinical documentation standards and directly support improved patient care while working alongside industry-leading experts in AI and speech recognition technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend application components targeting healthcare challenges.
• Drive technical ownership to improve quality and functionality of clinical documentation software.
• Address complex technical problems using advanced and contemporary technologies.
• Collaborate closely with customers, UX designers, and product teams to create impactful solutions.
• Engage actively in software development cycles including planning, reviews, and documentation.

Professional Experience and Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher, or 10 years with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular), Node.js, Go, or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Additional Information

• Work location: Remote within Ireland.
• Travel requirements are minimal, potentially up to 1% domestic and 1% international travel.
