  • Build and refine prototypes while overseeing the product lifecycle through to mass production.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, validation procedures, and root cause diagnostics to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Guarantee compliance with EMC regulations, electrical safety, and other relevant standards.
  • Engage in technical design reviews and support informed decision-making processes.
  • Work synergistically with teams across Product, Software, Manufacturing, Procurement, and New Product Introduction.
  • Develop strong partnerships with suppliers and manufacturing collaborators.
  • Continuously enhance engineering methods and workflows.
  • Guide and develop fellow engineers by providing mentorship and technical support.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Bring over five years of experience in product development or research and development environments.
  • Demonstrate proven capability in developing commercially viable electronic products.
  • Exhibit strong skills in analog and digital electronics design.
  • Be proficient using PCB CAD and other electronics design software tools.
  • Have a solid understanding of electromagnetic compatibility standards and electrical safety protocols.
  • Be skilled at diagnosing and resolving intricate electronic malfunctions.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Competitive compensation and incentives based on performance.
  • Access to modern engineering technologies and tools.
  • A collaborative workplace culture emphasizing practical problem solving.
  • Contributions to KiwiSaver retirement plans.
  • Life and Disability Insurance coverage.
