Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Training Advisor responsible for translating complex technical knowledge into engaging and clear learning materials. This role, reporting to the Content & Design Lead, involves leveraging your expertise in Gallagher Security products to design and refine accurate, accessible training content that enhances understanding and skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical input to develop, review, and improve training materials.
• Ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and simplicity in learning designs, storyboards, and modules.
• Create concise, easy-to-understand educational content that simplifies complex concepts.
• Stay informed on product developments, including updates to Command Centre software and hardware.
• Support testing of training simulators and maintain quality training resources.
• Address training system support requests, evaluate online course submissions, and give constructive feedback to learners as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a credible technical communicator passionate about sharing knowledge and enabling learner success. Experience working hands-on with Gallagher Security solutions will allow you to break down complex ideas into practical training modules and foster strong collaboration between product, engineering, training, and customer teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with Gallagher Command Centre and Gallagher Security hardware.
• Relevant formal qualification or substantial experience in a technical product-related capacity.
• Proven ability to communicate technical details clearly and confidently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of the Access Control sector, with preferred knowledge of installer, technician, and customer perspectives.
• Good grasp of networking principles, device troubleshooting, and technical support workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities complemented by good judgement and cross-team collaboration skills.
