The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our Security Devices team. The role involves designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing electronic solutions that innovate new products and improve existing offerings used worldwide. You will work in multidisciplinary project teams, combining technical knowledge and practical problem-solving to develop reliable and manufacturable electronic designs. Collaboration with manufacturing, procurement, project teams, and product stakeholders is essential to ensure successful deployment of solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Create robust and cost-efficient electronic circuit designs for both new developments and current products.
  • Develop high-quality prototypes and electronic circuits, meeting project deadlines.
  • Perform testing and validation to guarantee design performance, reliability, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, electrical safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic circuit issues to identify root causes.
  • Assess and evaluate alternative components for suitability in existing and upcoming products.
  • Support manufacturing introduction of new products and design modifications.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement product enhancements and manufacturing process changes.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement focused on customer-oriented product development.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
  • Competence in designing and building electronic circuitry.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities for electronic circuits.
  • Proficient computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Collaborative approach with dedication to delivering high-quality engineering results.
