Electrical / Electronics Assembly and Testing Engineer

Job Overview

We seek a skilled Electronics / Electrical Assembly and Testing Engineer to join our Production department. This full-time role involves assembling, wiring, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting various electronic and electrical products while following internal standards and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of PCBs, SMPS, controllers, industrial PCs, displays, communication units, and other modules according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Execute AC/DC wiring tasks including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, ferruling, and terminations.
• Install and connect electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, power supplies, terminal blocks, switches, sensors, and communication devices.
• Interpret bill of materials, schematics, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and assembly drawings accurately.
• Carry out visual inspections and use test equipment like DMMs, clamp meters, and power supplies to check continuity, voltage, current, resistance, and functionality.
• Validate communication interfaces including Ethernet, USB, RS232, and RS485 where applicable.
• Identify and resolve wiring or assembly defects via basic troubleshooting and repair.
• Maintain comprehensive records of testing and production data supporting QC, PDI, FAT, and final inspection procedures.
• Comply with ESD, electrical safety protocols, PPE, 5S methodologies, and production floor discipline.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE, or related fields.
• 1 to 4 years of proven experience in electronics/electrical assembly and testing.
• Solid fundamentals of electronics and electrical principles, including AC/DC characteristics.
• Proficiency in PCB handling, component recognition, and wire crimping/termination techniques.
• Working knowledge of soldering and basic rework.
• Experienced in using multimeters and basic electrical test instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, work instructions, and SOPs effectively.
• Familiarity with SMPS, relays, contactors, MCBs, terminal blocks, connectors, and sensor technology.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet, RS232, RS485 communications protocols, and ESD precautions.

Preferred Background

• Experience in industrial electronics such as industrial/Panel PC assembly, automation panels, battery manufacturing equipment, BESS/Energy Storage Systems, EMS/SCADA hardware, or control panels is beneficial.

Compensation

Monthly remuneration offers 15,000 INR.
