Role Overview

The Sleeving Operator position is a full-time, on-site job based in Sharjah. The operator will handle sleeving machinery, applying sleeves or labels on products in accordance with production guidelines and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include machinery setup and adjustments, continuous monitoring of production runs, conducting product inspections to detect defects, and ensuring correct sleeve alignment and application.

Additional duties comprise performing routine equipment checks, adhering strictly to safety procedures, maintaining workplace cleanliness, accurately recording production data, and effectively collaborating with supervisors and the production team to achieve daily output targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven experience in operating production or packaging equipment, ideally sleeving or labeling machines, with the ability to follow set operating procedures.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor machine adjustments, troubleshooting simple faults, and conducting routine inspections.
• Keen attention to detail to guarantee precise sleeve placement, thorough quality checks, and identification of any product defects.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety including safe operation of machinery, proper use of protective gear, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Capability to work in a fast-moving manufacturing setting, standing for long durations, and delivering on daily production goals.
• Good communication skills for coordination with colleagues and supervisors, along with the ability to understand both written and verbal instructions.
• Previous exposure to manufacturing or packaging environments is desirable; vocational or technical certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
