Senior Electrical Technical Engineer (High-Rise Tower)

About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior Electrical Technical Engineer to join a leading Real Estate & Construction company in Saudi Arabia, specializing in high-rise tower projects. The role demands expertise in electrical design coordination, review of technical documents, and providing on-site technical support to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and coordinate electrical designs, shop drawings, and BIM models to ensure accuracy and integration.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for BOQs and assist in managing variations and change orders efficiently.
• Create and update As-Built drawings to facilitate project closure and handover for operations and maintenance.
• Assess electrical installations including power systems, lighting, fire alarm, low-current systems, and Building Management System (BMS) interfaces.
• Review material submittals, vendor documentation, and equipment datasheets to confirm compliance.
• Contribute to BIM coordination activities and resolve interdisciplinary clashes.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to on-site teams, supporting testing and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all work adheres to requirements set by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), Saudi Building Code (SBC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and relevant international standards.
• Compile technical reports and recommendations addressing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other technical issues.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years experience working on high-rise or tower construction projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical building systems, BIM/Revit, AutoCAD, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes.
• Good command of Saudi national codes, SEC regulations, and international electrical standards.
• Excellent communication, cross-disciplinary coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
