Barista

About the Role

We seek a dedicated and customer-oriented Barista to become a valuable member of a renowned coffee shop team in Jeddah. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong proficiency in coffee making, uphold a friendly demeanor, and prioritize outstanding service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and serve top-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu offerings.
• Use espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment efficiently and with great care.
• Ensure beverages are consistently prepared to standard recipes and quality benchmarks.
• Deliver courteous, professional, and prompt service to customers.
• Accurately receive customer orders and handle payments via cash or card.
• Keep the bar area and customer zones clean, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Track stock levels and assist with restocking duties as needed.
• Comply with all food safety and health regulations rigorously.
• Address and manage customer inquiries and minor complaints tactfully.
• Collaborate effectively with teammates in a dynamic and busy setting.
• Participate in opening and closing store procedures when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Barista or in a coffee shop or hospitality setting is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of coffee preparation methods and espresso-based drinks.
• Excellent communication abilities and strong customer service orientation.
• Capability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-moving environment.
• Neat professional appearance coupled with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic proficiency in English and mandatory fluency in Arabic.
