Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Fire Alarm Systems Programmer Engineer to work onsite in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will specialize in programming and commissioning EDWARDS EST3 and EST4 fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, configure, and commission EDWARDS EST3 and EST4 fire alarm systems.
- Conduct system testing, verification, and final commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions and execute diagnostic procedures.
- Configure networked fire alarm systems ensuring proper integration with field devices.
- Review and analyze project drawings, technical specifications, cause-and-effect matrices, and related documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients during project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test documentation, and as-built records.
- Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance services, system upgrades, and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and fire protection standards throughout all tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of proven experience in programming, testing, and commissioning EDWARDS EST3 and EST4 fire alarm systems.
- In-depth understanding of EST3/EST4 system architecture, networking principles, panel configuration, and integration with field devices.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and fire alarm system layouts.
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- EDWARDS factory certification or formal manufacturer training on EST3/EST4 systems is strongly preferred.
