TAG Software Group is looking to hire a Senior Cloud Engineer to join one of its software business units. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures that support software platforms serving a global clientele.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across software engineering, architecture, product management, and cybersecurity to create robust cloud solutions. The position demands leadership in modernizing cloud infrastructure, implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation, and establishing best practices to improve the platform's security, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and sustain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructures for global SaaS platforms.
- Work collaboratively across engineering, architecture, product, and cybersecurity teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
- Lead efforts to modernize cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to ensure consistent, fast, and reliable deployments.
- Support cloud-native applications focusing on availability, scalability, and performance.
- Establish and promote cloud engineering standards, best practices, and governance.
- Enhance platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency proactively.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in cloud infrastructure and applications within production.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and release management processes.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to enforce security controls and maintain compliance.
- Research and integrate new cloud technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or comparable experience.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services and architectures.
- Proven ability to design and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Competence in constructing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security fundamentals, monitoring, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Proficiency scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude coupled with effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of AWS certification credentials.
- Experience with migrating applications to cloud environments.
- Background supporting .NET and/or Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with Azure or working in multi-cloud setups.
