Role Overview
We are seeking a DevOps specialist to join our Cloud Infrastructure team who thrives on automation to eliminate repetitive and burdensome operational tasks. Whether you are a system administrator passionate about streamlining operations or a developer intrigued by the infrastructure supporting applications, this position invites you to help enhance and develop tools and systems managing cloud infrastructure for multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement new infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Deploy software updates efficiently across platforms.
- Offer level-3 technical support to resolve complex issues.
- Create tools aimed at minimizing errors and enhancing user experience.
- Conduct root cause analyses to identify the source of production issues.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical problems related to infrastructure.
- Develop automation scripts, primarily with IaC technologies.
- Design and document procedures for troubleshooting and maintaining systems.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation about tools and infrastructure solutions.
- Recommend improvements in security, performance, and scalability of existing environments.
- Participate in day-to-day operational activities with potential on-call responsibilities.
Technical and Professional Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a developer or systems administrator within Linux environments.
- At least 7 years using Jenkins and Git for build automation and version control.
- Five or more years interacting with external cloud providers; experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure considered a plus.
- Minimum 5 years with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Progress Chef.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash and Python.
- Deep understanding of networking principles and cloud infrastructure configuration.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures including APIs and SDKs.
- Familiar with multiple database technologies, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Highly autonomous, quick learner with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and studios.
- Fluent English required; French language skills are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Recognized cloud computing certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Apache Mesos.
- Experience with high-volume data processing applications.
- Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools such as Elasticsearch and Grafana.
