Role Overview
Join a top-tier global quantitative trading firm as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) charged with constructing the foundational infrastructure supporting mission-critical trading platforms operating worldwide, 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient platform infrastructure.
- Create and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to speed up software deployment.
- Enhance platform observability through advanced monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems.
- Develop automation tools and self-service capabilities widely used by engineering teams.
- Support container-based workloads and manage orchestration technologies within large-scale environments.
- Lead efforts to boost reliability, system performance, and scalability of distributed systems and middleware layers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong expertise with Linux system administration and automation practices.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining high-quality CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Well-versed in observability tools covering monitoring, logging, and tracing.
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code techniques and infrastructure automation.
- Competent in scripting and programming with languages like Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
- Demonstrated passion for designing and operating highly reliable, available platform architectures.
