Job description
Overview
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Linux platform management to join a leading fintech client based in Singapore. This dynamic role blends Linux Systems Engineering with Site Reliability Engineering to support and advance a low latency Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated scalable deployment solutions across private and public cloud infrastructures. You'll operate in both project-driven and business-as-usual contexts with a strong focus on automation.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Linux operating systems
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Familiarity with container orchestration and management using Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Programming skills in Python for automation and scripting tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, Helm, Pulumi, Bicep, and Ansible
- Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) strategies and implementations
- Experience with Block and Blob storage technologies
- Background in High Performance Computing (HPC)
Compensation
The compensation range is from SGD 120,000 to SGD 250,000 annually, with additional bonuses based on performance.
