Senior Associate - BOQ

Job Overview

This role involves preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates aligned with design specifications and various project demands. The incumbent ensures adherence to company standards and contributes to special projects with detailed reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop BOQs in accordance with the design team's instructions.
• Create both high-level and detailed cost estimates based on project requirements.
• Maintain and enforce Americana's quality and procedural standards.
• Collaborate on specialized projects requiring in-depth focus and reporting.
• Deliver accurate NSO BOQs meeting target specifications.
• Prepare detailed Remodel BOQs conforming to target goals.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Carry 6 to 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Previous work experience in retail or Food & Beverage sectors is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proficient in reading architectural drawings with great accuracy.
• Strong understanding of Civil and Interior Design work specifications.
• Knowledgeable in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Competent with AutoCAD software.
• Familiar with local authority regulations from a specifications perspective.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
