Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Follow assigned duty roster created by the Director of Security.
• Be prepared for deployment at various locations including Security Control Room, Lobby, Loading Bay, or VIP Parking.
• Conduct patrolling, observation, or back-of-house monitoring duties.
• Ensure all security systems operate effectively and promptly address any malfunctions.
• Provide assistance to management, staff, and guests aligned with security and prevention goals.
• Liaise with different departments and government bodies during regular operations and emergencies.
• Monitor unauthorized access points especially in back-of-house areas.
• Maintain detailed logs and records for future reference.
• Keep the Manager or Crisis Management Team updated during any crisis situations.
• Manage inventories for keys, passes, communication devices, and other accountable materials.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Security Room and its vicinity.
• Have thorough knowledge of hotel fire, life safety, and emergency protocols.
• Adhere strictly to hotel and departmental policies and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as directed by management.
• Report punctually to duty in complete and neat uniform.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene consistently.
• Carry out any additional reasonable tasks assigned by hotel management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of secondary or high school education.
• Preferable certifications include National Skills Recognition, CPR, First Aid Management, and Basic Fire Fighting.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in a similar security role.
• Proficient in English language speaking, reading, and writing.
• Clean criminal record.
• Must maintain professional appearance and grooming standards at all times.
