Scanline Floater

Job Summary

MAC.BID specializes in buying truckloads of customer returns and overstocked products, selling these items individually through online auctions. The Scanline Floater is responsible for preparing and positioning products for the scan team, removing scanned items, and organizing them according to the internal system. This role reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products for visible defects.
• Classify products as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Perform basic testing of electronics to determine general condition.
• Transfer products to the conveyor for scanning.
• Promptly remove scanned products from the scanning area.
• Organize and place products on shelves in bays according to auction and lot numbers.
• Assist the team in achieving quantity and quality objectives.
• Keep work areas clean by sweeping and removing trash from bays and scanning area.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Willingness and availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
• Comfortable with technology and able to follow company policies and written instructions.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
