Scanline Floater

Job Overview

MAC.BID purchases truckloads of customer returned and overstock products, then sells them individually through online auctions. The Scanline Floater plays a crucial role in preparing and positioning products for the scanning team, as well as clearing scanned items and placing them correctly according to the company's inventory system. This role reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine incoming products for visible defects
• Classify products into categories such as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Conduct basic electronic testing to determine general condition
• Transfer products onto conveyors for scanning
• Expeditiously remove scanned products from the scanning area
• Organize and shelve items in bays according to auction and lot numbers
• Assist the team in achieving daily quantity and quality targets
• Clean and sweep empty bays and mobile scan areas
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including an 8-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
• Comfortable with technology and able to learn company tools
• Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods
• Able to follow written instructions and adhere to company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
