Scanline Floater

Job Overview

MAC.BID purchases truckloads of customer returns and excess inventory, then resells these items individually through online auctions. The Scanline Floater supports the scan team by preparing products for scanning, removing scanned items, and organizing them within the storage system. This role reports directly to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products to identify obvious damage
• Classify each item as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Conduct basic testing on electronic items to evaluate their condition
• Transfer products onto the conveyor belt for scanning
• Promptly remove scanned items from the scanning area
• Relocate products to storage bays, arranging them on shelves based on auction and lot numbers
• Contribute to the team's achievement of quantity and quality targets
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and removing trash from empty bays and the mobile scan area
• Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to work on-site Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with an 8-hour shift including a 30-minute lunch
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds individually and up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Technologically proficient and comfortable using technology
• Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and company policies
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
