Scanner Associate

Position Overview

MAC.BID specializes in purchasing truckloads of returned and overstock items, which are then sold individually via online auctions. The Scanner Associate plays a vital role by using proprietary technology to swiftly and accurately input product details into the auction portal. This role reports directly to the Scan Team Lead and is essential for maintaining data quality and quantity.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently scan items and upload accurate product data for online auctions.
• Conduct online product searches as part of the listing process.
• Capture and crop images for each auction listing.
• Verify and fill in any missing or incorrect item information.
• Meet established performance standards relating to quantity and quality.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Availability for onsite work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch; schedule may adjust based on workload and management decisions.
• Able to independently lift up to 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Comfortable navigating web and browser-based tools such as Google and Amazon platforms.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during shifts.
• Proficient with technology and able to follow detailed written instructions and company procedures.
• Possession of a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
