Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate eyewear such as frames, lenses, contact lenses, and sunglasses.
• Promote product sales by executing upselling, cross-selling, and marketing promotions.
• Meet personal sales goals and assist in elevating overall store performance.
• Create an engaging and professional experience for shoppers.
• Handle customer questions and resolve basic complaints efficiently.
• Establish lasting customer relationships to encourage loyalty.
• Accurately interpret optical prescriptions to support correct product dispensing.
• Assist with correct fitting, adjustments, and product choices, including technical support for opticians when necessary.
• Verify prescriptions, fittings, and product details to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Ensure products are defect-free and fully aligned with customer orders before delivery.
• Guarantee flawless delivery by resolving issues prior to handing over products.
• Process customer transactions correctly using the POS system.
• Assist with insurance claim approvals and related paperwork.
• Follow company policies and protocols thoroughly.
• Maintain accurate stock records and handle products carefully.
• Report any shortages, damage, or inconsistencies in inventory promptly.
• Stay updated on product knowledge across all optical categories.
• Collaborate with the team to accomplish store sales targets.
• Support opticians and sales associates during busy periods.
• Contribute positively to workplace morale and productivity.
• Adhere to safety measures and operational standards consistently.

Requirements

• Proven sales and customer service abilities within optical retail settings.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and POS transaction systems.
• Competency in reading and interpreting optical prescriptions accurately.
• Strong focus on detail and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic.
• Capable of working under pressure to achieve sales targets.
• Team-oriented with responsibility awareness and a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in optical retail.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Optics or a related discipline.
• Certification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) required.
