Position Summary
The Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) acts as the initial contact for inbound interest in Bob, responding quickly to demo requests, content downloads, event attendance, or website inquiries. The role involves understanding customer business challenges, qualifying leads, educating prospects, removing purchase obstacles, and connecting qualified leads with Account Executives (AEs). Close collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams ensures demand is converted into a strong pipeline and prospects encounter a smooth, engaging introduction to HiBob.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage inbound inquiries promptly via phone and email to maximize conversion rates.
- Conduct consultative qualification conversations to assess business needs, priorities, and buying readiness.
- Arrange quality discovery meetings with AEs, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist prospects in understanding how Bob solves their challenges, address initial product and pricing questions, recommend resources, and involve specialist teams as required.
- Keep CRM data current and manage inbound opportunities diligently.
- Maintain follow-ups to maximize conversions and reconnect with prospects showing renewed interest.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to improve lead quality, coordinate seamless handovers, share customer intelligence to refine messaging, campaigns, and sales procedures.
Candidate Profile

Preferred but not required experiences include inbound sales, lead qualification, customer support, SDR/BDR roles, SaaS or tech industry experience, familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM, knowledge of live chat or sales engagement tools, and understanding of HR technology or processes.
