Role Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in initiating outbound prospecting and developing the sales pipeline, primarily concentrating on Appfire's Flow product and identifying emerging opportunities for cross-selling within our portfolio of over 20,000 existing global customers. This position is responsible for generating new business prospects, creating demand, and opening paths to new revenue.
Key Duties
- Conduct thorough research to pinpoint target accounts and identify decision-makers for outbound campaigns.
- Implement personalized outreach methods through email, telephone, and social platforms to cultivate interest in Flow and other Appfire solutions.
- Qualify potential leads and arrange meetings for Account Executives to further pursue opportunities.
- Maintain precise records of activities in Salesforce to facilitate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to enhance messaging strategies and spot new cross-sell prospects.
- Consistently achieve or surpass monthly targets related to scheduled meetings and pipeline creation.
Candidate Profile
- Preferably possess 1–2 years of experience in outbound prospecting or inside sales.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage high levels of outbound activity and to constructively handle rejection.
- Skilled in researching accounts and customizing outreach to suit different industries and positions.
- Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement tools such as Sales Navigator, Gong, ZoomInfo, and Calendly is advantageous.
