Job description

About Gallea AI

Gallea AI develops AiOS, an Intelligent Operating System designed to make businesses conversational by transforming websites into platforms where visitors can get instant and precise answers in the company's voice at any time. Internally, AiOS ensures consistent communication from all team members, ranging from front desk employees to senior managers.

The product stems from extensive experience advising businesses on AI strategy, identifying a frequent problem where organizations purchased AI tools that were not aligned with their operational workflows. AiOS serves as a solution to this issue. As an IBM Business Partner, AiOS leverages enterprise-grade infrastructure, ensuring secure governance which is highly valued by their clients who seek AI capabilities without compromising brand integrity or data security.

The team operates from Toronto, delivering a real product to genuine clients, with all members engaged in product development, client interaction, or both.

Role Overview

You will be the initial point of contact for prospective clients. The main objective is to identify businesses with low performing websites, quantify the conversion gap, and connect the appropriate person with an Account Executive. This position is outbound-focused, requiring thorough research before outreach.

Estimated conversion deficits, calculated from site traffic, category, and average order values, will serve as conversation starters and are integral to the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create target account lists within priority industry sectors using data tools and independent research.
  • Assess account suitability based on criteria such as purchase type, sufficient website traffic, and conversion below category benchmarks.
  • Calculate revenue gaps for potential clients to initiate discussions.
  • Engage prospects mainly through cold calling, as well as email and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Qualify inbound leads and direct them appropriately to Account Executives.
  • Schedule qualified appointments and provide detailed handoff notes to facilitate continuing conversations.
  • Maintain updated account, contact, and activity information within the CRM system.
  • Provide feedback on market responses, effective opening approaches, and indicators of prospect interest.

Qualifications and Experience

  • One to two years of experience in outbound sales development or a comparable role demonstrating resilience in handling repeated rejection.
  • Confidence and skill in telephone communication; this is not an email-only position.
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting traffic statistics, conversion rates, and basic revenue calculations with a desire to understand differing conversion outcomes.
  • Ability to converse fluently with business owners and marketing professionals about revenue in practical terms rather than product specifications.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing extensive account lists without neglecting follow-up.
  • Adaptability to a startup environment with evolving processes.
  • Availability to work onsite in Toronto five days per week.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with industries such as real estate, self-storage, automotive, e-commerce, DTC health products, or juvenile goods.
  • Knowledge of web analytics and traffic estimation software.
