Role Overview
This position is based in Dublin and adopts a hybrid work model combining remote work with time onsite at a LinkedIn office. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll embark on a thriving sales career, initiated through LinkedIn's specialized Sales Academy training. This role serves as a foundational step leading to future sales roles and potential leadership positions within LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with Account Executives, Account Directors, and team members by following company engagement protocols, resolving conflicts, and collaboratively addressing business needs.
- Align account priorities and performance goals with stakeholders to enhance efficiency and shared accountability.
- Model partnership behavior and actively contribute to a culture of collaboration within your team.
- Embody LinkedIn's core values and culture while coordinating with colleagues and partners.
- Employ functional expertise to comprehend customer business challenges and address pain points effectively.
- Implement targeted prospecting techniques and strategies to consistently engage potential clients.
- Gain thorough knowledge of LinkedIn’s products and utilize qualification frameworks such as BANT to support opportunity development.
- Establish rapport with prospects by clarifying their involvement in the sales pipeline and proactively listen to identify needs and objections.
- Experiment with outreach methods and prioritize leads/accounts to boost engagement and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with management to set coaching goals and actively incorporate feedback for performance enhancement.
- Use A/B testing and analytical tools to refine messaging strategies and increase conversion rates, sharing insights with relevant teams.
- Adhere to defined rules of engagement to resolve conflicts, escalate when necessary, and refine prospecting approaches based on common challenges.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly performance objectives by aligning daily tasks with key performance indicators.
- Develop and implement structured plans outlining milestones, targets, and success strategies, utilizing data to track and optimize personal results.
- Forecast quarterly projections, understand customer decision processes to anticipate timelines and barriers.
- Communicate business value and opportunity insights clearly to maintain forecasting accuracy.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential revenue opportunities through proactive engagement and qualification criteria.
Qualifications
- Basic: At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, lead generation, or sales operations; or completion of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Language: Must be fluent in both French and English.
- Preferred: More than 6 months experience utilizing CRM or ERP platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or HubSpot.
