Job Overview

As a Sales Associate focused on Print and Services at Staples Canada in Winnipeg, Manitoba, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences, supporting print production activities, and contributing to the overall success of our retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by proactively recognizing opportunities to deepen customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Support the print and customer service sections of the store by applying our sales techniques and gaining full knowledge of our product and service offerings for tailored recommendations.
• Work alongside store management to set and reach sales and margin objectives.
• Carry out print production tasks within the store environment.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines, asset protection measures, and privacy policies.
• Interact with customers to offer personalized product and service options that anticipate their future needs using comprehensive sales tools and strategies.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system effectively, managing sales, shipping transactions, and utilizing marketing tools to enhance customer conversion.
• Manage order intake and pickup in the print department through filtering orders from various sources including the print dashboard and phone calls, ensuring proper handling at the counter.
• Keep print machines well-stocked with necessary supplies such as paper and toner, accurately organize print orders by company standards, and prioritize them correctly within service workflows.
• Maintain merchandising, signage, and inventory control standards around print and cashier areas, ensuring a neat and compliant sales floor appearance.
• Maintain all prescribed print and service area standards, completing required checklists, audits, and brand compliance measures.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Preferably have between 3 months to one year previous retail experience.
• Strong skills in customer service and clear communication.
• Capability to cooperate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
