Reset Merchandiser - Southeast

Overview

Acosta is seeking dependable and motivated full-time retail merchandisers to support a leading grocery retailer in the Southeast region. This role involves executing store layout resets, adhering to planograms, and maintaining merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement planograms accurately to complete reset and remodel tasks.
• Handle physical activities such as moving and cleaning shelves, installing racks and fixtures, and merchandising products appropriately.
• Ensure precise placement of shelf tags and strips while maintaining planogram consistency.
• Manage inventory tasks including pack-outs, restocking, and reorder processing.
• Collaborate effectively with store staff and merchandising teams to achieve excellence in store presentation.
• Use web-based applications for scheduling, assignments, timekeeping, mileage tracking, and expense reporting.
• Accurately complete required documentation and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have reliable transportation to travel among multiple store locations.
• Previous experience reading and executing planograms is essential; grocery reset background strongly favored.
• Professional demeanor with a solid work ethic.
• Access to a computer with internet, email, and printing capability is required.
• Comfortable utilizing smartphones and handheld devices related to work functions.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 60 pounds safely.
• Proficient interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Capable or willing to use basic hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and case cutters.
• Physically able to climb and stand on ladders or step stools when necessary.
