Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the technical, business, financial, and administrative operations of assigned projects or programs, representing the company to clients and select suppliers during execution.
• Negotiate scope adjustments with customers and support business development by understanding client needs to secure new or additional contracts.
• Define program requirements, allocate tasks to project teams based on their strengths, and supervise deliverables ensuring compliance with established criteria.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and development of subordinates while encouraging technical excellence and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mobilize company resources effectively, coordinating with support teams and subsidiaries to ensure timely, quality project completion.
• Collaborate with discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans; monitor progress and milestones, managing risks related to costs, schedules, and scope changes.
• Prepare and oversee Work Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Control Plans, especially for hazardous waste projects; participate in regulatory negotiations and public engagements as needed.
• Support and enforce HSE policies through the One-Way program, ensuring all project participants comply with safety requirements.
• Foster strong customer relationships by understanding and communicating requirements and managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Handle commercial aspects of contracts, ensuring budgets and gross margins are met.
• Manage scope handover from business development, define scope clearly, enforce contract compliance, apply change control processes, and monitor project performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Plan all project scopes including resource and financial needs; oversee design, procurement, and construction to adhere to schedules; ensure proper documentation and project closure.
• Monitor cost estimates and reports to avoid overruns and leverage opportunities.
• Ensure project quality standards are established and met, enforce company policies, and implement lessons learned programs.
• Provide clear leadership by defining roles and responsibilities to drive project success.
• Maintain effective communication within the project team and with customers; manage progress reporting and communication networks.
• Identify, monitor, and address risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Set objectives and oversee design, procurement, subcontracting, and construction teams ensuring compliance with client requirements and timely, safe project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Mandatory Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) engineering accreditation; candidates must obtain this within the probationary period if not already held.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or in progress is advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience managing onshore brownfield projects, particularly in Pre-FEED and FEED phases.
• Proven track record in supervisory or project management roles with technical expertise.
