Job description
Role Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will be integral to planning, orchestrating, and implementing advanced technical projects centered on Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UxV), encompassing aerial, ground, and surface platforms, alongside counter-drone technologies and command and control (C2) software systems. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, cross-functional internal teams, and external clients, you will ensure delivery of dependable and mission-ready defense solutions, from initial concept through to field deployment.
Key Duties
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, milestones, and oversee technical deliverables.
- Lead coordination efforts among multidisciplinary engineering teams and external parties.
- Participate actively in system design, architectural planning, integration, testing phases, and validation activities.
- Provide support during field trials, product demonstrations, deployments, and operational use cases.
- Maintain communication channels with clients, defense officials, suppliers, and technology collaborators.
- Guarantee adherence to technical documentation standards, quality assurance, safety protocols, and defense regulations.
- Contribute to risk management processes, resolution of technical issues, and continuous system enhancement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering fields.
- Bring at least five years of engineering or project experience, preferably within defense sectors, security domains, or unmanned systems development.
- Familiarity with system integration methodologies, testing procedures, and deployment of sophisticated systems is required.
- Exposure to command and control (C2) systems, sensors, radio frequency (RF) technologies, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) devices, embedded systems, or cybersecurity would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of military and defense standards such as MIL-STD, STANAG, ISO, or comparable frameworks is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong abilities in project coordination, effective communication, problem-solving, and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Preparedness to participate in field trials, travel as needed, and support operational activities is essential.
